About Credo Imports
Credo Imports was founded in 2019 with the goal of offering the finest wines available from several European markets.
Creating lasting partnerships
Credo Imports discovers unique wines from small-batch, family-owned wineries in the best wine regions in Europe.
Credo Imports was founded in 2019 as a wine and spirits variety sourcing agent, working exclusively with multi-generational, family-owned wineries. We focus on expanding the reach of these wineries to the U.S. market without sacrificing their established traditions, practices, and heritage.
Based in Pennsylvania, Credo Imports serves distributors and wholesalers across the United States. We bring the otherwise obscure and unknown to the U.S. to make the experience of drinking exceptional wine approachable, enjoyable, and exciting for anyone and everyone.
Founder & Co-Owner
Daniel Satola founded Credo Imports in 2019 with a vision of creating a family-owned company to import and market small production fine wines from family-owned producers in Europe.
Arriving in Germany in 2013, Dan fell in love—not just with wine—but with all the romance surrounding visiting vineyards on sunny weekend afternoons. After returning to the U.S. in 2018, he had a hard time finding quality, small production wines in stores. Realizing that countless exceptional wines weren’t making their way to the United States, he started importing varieties from small producers and more obscure European wine regions.
Managing Partner & Co-Owner
Matthew Goss joined Credo Imports in 2020. His ancestral background and several years of forging relationships in the Austrian and German wine communities have proved invaluable as Credo Import’s portfolio has grown and diversified.
Matt feels there is a space for anyone and everyone to find a wine they love and a place to learn and grow without pretension or judgment. His goal is to open up a market for those who feel on the ‘outside’ of a traditionally exclusive club.
